Dynamic Negotiation Approach Online Course


My role

I collaborated with an interdisciplinary team at 3C Institute to work with Andrea Schneider and Dr. Kipfer to curate a personalized, interactive online course that gives researchers the critical negotiation skills they need to have a successful career. As art director, I led the team of animators and videographers to create didactic videos, interactive quizzes, and simulated conversation games and coordinated with the content and web development team.

Deliverables Designed:

  • Online modules, including didactic videos and interactive quizzes

  • Graphic design for personalized reports, logo,and brand elements

 

Personalized Feedback

Users complete the Dynamic Negotiation Approach Diagnostic (DYNAD), a self-assessment that Dr. Schneider developed with Jennifer Gerarda Brown, JD, dean of the School of Law at Quinnipiac University, to determine their negotiation style preferences. I designed the personalized reports and collaborated with web developers on customizing the e-learning platform to create hands-on practices and feedback.

Simulated Scenarios

Serious games allows users to practice different negotiating styles depending on the scenario. By providing a safe space to practice, users can try out different negotiation styles and in a simulated conversation see how the results differ depending on the scenario, such as negotiating authorship and negotiating your first job offer.
